Around my house cake mix is something we always have in the pantry. Whenever it goes on sale my mom stocks up. Let’s just say that birthdays come quite often in my house (with 6 kids) and birthday cakes are obviously a must-have.
But since we can’t live on cake (wouldn’t that be the life) I compiled a list of 8 ways to transform a boxed cake mix into something other than cake!
Take a look at these fabulous recipes and try one (or a few) for yourself.
1. Carrot Cake Bars {BHG.com}
2. Vanilla Cake Batter Chocolate Truffles {Averie Cooks}
3. Cake Mix Dinner Rolls {Mommy’s Kitchen}
4. White Wedding Cake Cupcakes {Design Eat Repeat}
5. Blueberry Muffins {Food, Photo Credit}
6. Cake Mix Snicker Doodles {Pillsbury}
7. Chocolate Chip Cake Batter Cookies {Tried & Tasty}
8. Funfetti Bars {Chocolate Therapy}
Which ones sound the best to you?

Just found this on pinterest. Nice article, and great blog! I’m going to try some of these using sugar free cake mix – I’ll let you know how they come out. Think I’ll start with the snickerdoodles…………

I just discovered your blog thanks to Pinterest. I am also a 20-something going on 80. In fact, my friends have been calling me “Grandma” for years, and one of them says I’m “made out of old people”. :) So glad there are more like me out there!
