Excellent recipe! After following directions completely, the second batch I made I browned the butter first and it really enhanced the flavor making it almost a dead ringer for the kitchen sink cookie. Thanks for the recipe.

These were really good. My first attempt were no bueno. I live at high altitudes so I had to make adjustments to get the perfect texture after my first attempt didn’t work out (due to the altitude).
This time, I got it right after making some adjustments. I followed the recipe with these minor changes to adjust for the high altitude:

* On the 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, I took out a 1/2 TBSP of granulated sugar.
* I omitted the baking soda all together
* I also omitted the salt (but that’s because I topped the cookies with salt flakes
* I added a 1/2 TBSP – 1 TBSP of water
* I baked the cookies at 375 for 8 minutes.

They turned out perfect this way. If anyone is new to baking at high altitudes, I hope this helps. The cookies really are delicious!!

I made these with a smaller scoop (watermelon baller) and baked them for about 8 minutes. It yielded approximately 2 dozen. Great if you want smaller cookies! Thanks for the recipe and it may be the bestest cookie ever!!
